Nine9 W Spot drill are epoch making tool because able to decrease 2 tools and processes into 1 by spot drilling and chamfering at the same time in tapping process.
By making 145°at the tip of insert and 90°between 2 sides, this unique form would prevent wearing of drill shoulder parts even drill have wide-tip angle which is popular for carbide drills, therefore W spot drill would much contribute high efficiency and long life of tools.
We are able to supply insert for M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, M12, M14 from our product line.
Nine9 W spot Center product features
- Spot drilling and Chamfering will be 1 process in Tapping.
- It will be able to make spot drilling that adjust to carbide drill and chamfering at the same time.
- Long Tool life by avoiding tip chipping
- By making 145°angle at the tip and this will make tip high rigidity and tool life longer.
- 145°wide angle avoid wearing of drill shoulder
- 145°spot drilling that would be wider than tip angle of carbide drill will avoid wearing or cracking of drill shoulder parts.
- Increasing tool life and straightness of carbide drill in post process
- Avoiding wearing or cracking of drill shoulder parts, this would make tool life longer.
- Decreasing tool cost because of indexable
- Contributing decrease of tool cost because of indexable insert that will be able to use 2 cutting edges.
- Able to use the same holder with NC spot drill series
- Inserts for M4, M5, M6 are using with 99616-10 and inserts for M8, M10 are using with 99616-14, inserts for M12, M14, M16 are using with 99616-22.
If you would already have these holders, you can use W spot center insert by changing inserts.
