The TSCHORN zero finder allows tool detection signaling to be recognized from all directions with its highly visible red LED lamp, providing improved work efficiency.
A strong magnet is attached to the bottom of the body to firmly secure the zero finder when a magnetic workpiece is used. A conductive detector is adopted for high accuracy. The detector has a 2 mm stroke, preventing tool damage in the event of overrun. Repeatability is within ±1 μm.
